Julie has 20 years of experience and now focuses on Acupuncture for Beauty Series, Balance Acupuncture Pain Management Series (except pain caused by the internal organs) and Healthcare of Herbal Medicine.
Beauty Series includes Face Lifting, Wrinkle Smoothing, Weight Loss, and Neck Sculpture. Pain Management Series includes Posture Correction, High and Low Shoulder and RSI – Repetitive Strain Injury.
Julie originally trained at the Sydney Institute of TCM (SITCM) and gained a Diploma in TCM Remedial Massage (Tui Na). Tui Na uses the theory of channels and the flow of Qi Energy as its basic therapeutic orientation to relax muscle tissue.
Then Julie travelled to China and worked at the Guangzhou Hospital of TCM to gain practical experience in Acupuncture and Herbal Dispensing.
Further study of the intricate and historical science of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Fujian University was rewarded with the qualification of a Bachelor Degree. This was updated to a BTCM in Australia after an internal articulation course at SITCM.
Julie is an Accredited Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and is eligible to provide Health Fund Rebates for all the TCM modalities of Remedial Massage, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
